These sconces were part of a series of six commissioned for a wine bar in Didsbury.
The bodies of the sconces were
forged from
steel and their natural worked
texture was enhanced with a
burnished and waxed finish. The
copper drip trays and reflectors were patinated then
polished to bring out their
warm, rich, earthy black and red tones. This finish was chosen to complement the wood and leather decor of the bar.
