There
are many ways of joining metal. The simplest and most economic is electric
arc welding. In the right circumstances, done well and properly finished by grounding
smooth; this can make an almost invisible joint. Done badly,
it can visually ruin an otherwise well designed piece of work. There are
however many other methods of joining metal. Some of which can be very expressive,
