Straight lines were avoided wherever possible in the design of this pair elegant and sculptural garden gates.
Instead, their structure comes from the use of natural looking curves combined with stylised and
hand forged
leaves and tendrils.
The asymmetrical halves have no conventional side or top frames and blend into each other where they meet.
The latch used to close the gates is disguised as a leaf, as is the drop bolt
that holds the smaller section open. Both are very difficult to spot when the gates are closed and the two halves appear as one complete panel.
This pair of smaller single garden gates
was developed from this design.
