G127 Freeform Plant Inspired Gate for a Passionate Gardener

The design of this side gate, commissioned by a passionate gardener, was a development of this pair of larger gates set in the Hebrides. Instead of using a conventional frame and straight lines, the gate features playful curves inspired by youthful plants exuberantly growing. This page shows an example of the hand forged leaves being made using traditional blacksmithing skills.
