The design of these bold and expressive wrought iron garden railings was inspired by stylised and natural plant forms.
Rather than using conventional support posts for the railings, clusters of flowers, stems, leaves and tendrils are used to support the handrail ... which looks as though it is still continuing to grow over
a brick wall!
Although the design of the railings appears contemporary, traditional
blacksmithing techniques were used to shape the organic detailing.
When the metal is heated in a forge it become soft and malleable and readily lends itself to being hammered to shape by hand; hence the unique and individual nature of the railings.
