The design of these modern and contemporary metal stair railings is a combination of Kadinsky inspired curves and a contrasting
Mondrian inspired grid.
The flowing curves are forged to shape by hammering the steel whilst red hot and their worked
texture contrasts with the smoother
burnished and waxed finish of the straight lines. The weaving of the curves through the lattice, and the joggles where bars intersect, give the railings a three dimensional sculptural quality.
