Modern Forged Steel Stair Balustrades

These forged steel stair balustrades were developed from the "windswirl" balustrades with elements added to meet building regulations regarding a 100mm gap. The bars are joined using hot punched holes and ballnuts, and the ends of the handrails were forged to compliment the forms used within the balustrades. A burnished and waxed finish was used to give a subtle metallic appearance.
