This deeply symbolic, hand made sculpture
can be specially commissioned as
a sixth/iron wedding anniversary present.
The sculpture is made by hand forging iron bars to shape using traditional blacksmithing techniques. The metal
is hammered to shape whilst glowing hot; each carefully placed hammer blow
is slightly different to the previous and each leaves its mark to ensure that every sculpture is unique, bespoke and individual.
It has a burnished and
waxed
finish, which is both protective and enhances the tones, texture and character resulting from the
forging process. The sculpture
is approximately 400mm tall.
